    Bevis Bawa Brief Garden is a worthwhile destination It is located north-east of Aluthgama near the village of Kalawila. The English landscape garden was gradually created from a former rubber plantation by the owner Bevis Bawa from 1929 onwards. The tour through the garden does not take long. Sometimes the path leads through jungle-like places, sometimes it opens up the view over artificial visual axes. Opening hours 08.00-17.00, admission is subject to a charge.
