General Terms and Conditions
Booking your Ayurveda Cure
All reservations for your Ayurveda holiday are non-binding until a deposit has been received in our account and your Ayurveda cure has been confirmed by us. By booking, you automatically accept the General Terms and Conditions of the Spirit of Life Resort in Sri Lanka.Please note that an Ayurveda cure is a package offer. If you book a package, unused services cannot be refunded. This also applies to services not used during the Ayurveda cure.

Prices and Packages of your Ayurveda Cure
The cure price is a package price. As with all hotels, the number of nights determines the calculation of the cure days.
The cure begins at 2:00 PM with check-in and ends at 11:00 AM with check-out. All services are provided within this time frame.
Treatments start on the first day and end on the day before departure. If you have a late return flight, treatments can also take place on the day of departure.
On the day of departure, after check-out at 11:00 AM, the following services can be booked for an additional charge:
Lunch €30
Dinner €20
Treatment €150
If the room is available before 2:00 PM, you may check in at no extra charge.
All prices are final prices in Euros, including local taxes and a 10% service charge.
We are happy to accommodate your wishes regarding meals (vegetarian/vegan). Other dietary requirements and special dietary habits will incur an additional daily charge.
Since an Ayurveda cure is a package offer, unused services (e.g., due to late arrival or early departure) cannot be refunded.
Payment Terms
At the time of booking, a deposit of 20% of the total amount is due via PayPal. The remaining 80% can be paid directly at check-in by credit card. Upon check-in, you will be asked to present your passport and a credit card.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations up to 30 days before the start of the cure/check-in, the deposit of 20% of the total amount will be fully refunded.
For cancellations less than 30 days before the start of the cure, the 20% deposit will no longer be refunded.
In general, for cancellations we issue a voucher; refunds or cash payments are excluded.
For your own protection, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
Early Termination or Modification of your Ayurveda Cure
If you have to end your Ayurveda cure prematurely or wish to change services, we are not obliged to issue a refund. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance, which will cover the costs if your trip must be terminated early due to urgent reasons (e.g., illness or accident, serious illness, or death of a relative, etc.).
Liability
Please understand that we cannot provide refunds for events of force majeure (such as natural disasters of any kind, epidemics, pandemics, or political unrest). In such cases, however, we are usually happy to offer a free postponement of your stay – after consultation and clarification of the individual case.
The services we guarantee are described in our service description.
The instructions of our Ayurveda doctors must be followed. We expressly point out that individual Ayurveda treatments are prescribed by the attending Ayurveda doctor based on your current state of health.
Our Ayurveda cure program serves your health care and does not replace treatment of an acute condition requiring hospitalization.
For treatments that, in the opinion of our Ayurveda doctors, should be avoided for health reasons, you cannot derive any claims.
Possible complications during an Ayurveda cure, such as allergic reactions to food, massage oils, or medication, or minor hematomas that may occur during trigger point treatments, fall within our responsibility only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
No refunds will be given for services not used during your Ayurveda cure.
Even in the case of interruptions due to illness, we cannot offer refunds for booked and provided services.
We assume no liability for disturbances caused by local or typical noises, odors, or injuries caused by animals.
Please understand that we are not liable for services provided by third parties, such as transportation and tours.
